April is Autism Awareness Month, a time when communities come together to raise awareness, understanding, and support for individuals on the autism spectrum. In this spirit, we invite you to join us at the Walk for Autism & Resource Fair on April 28th, a vibrant event aimed at fostering a sense of community, providing valuable resources, and celebrating the unique strengths of individuals with autism.
Date: April 28th
Location: Mission Plaza, SLO
The Walk for Autism & Resource Fair is not only an opportunity for families, friends, and community members to come together in solidarity but also a chance to explore a diverse range of services and products that cater to the needs of individuals with autism.
Vendor Opportunities: We are currently seeking vendors who offer services, products, or support for those on the autism spectrum. Whether you provide therapeutic services, educational resources, or unique products tailored for individuals with autism, we invite you to showcase your offerings at our Resource Fair.
We’re particularly interested in vendors offering:
- Support Services: Therapists, counselors, and organizations providing services to support individuals with autism and their families.
- Artisans and Entrepreneurs: Families or individuals on the autism spectrum who create and sell unique items. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your talents and products.
- Adaptive Products: Vendors with items specifically designed for individuals with autism, including sensory-friendly clothing, communication tools, and other adaptive products.
- Educational Resources: Publishers, educators, and organizations offering educational materials and resources for individuals with autism.
How to Participate: To secure your booth at the Walk for Autism & Resource Fair, simply fill out the vendor registration form. You can obtain the form by visiting our website or by reaching out to Carly Spears, our Executive Director, at cspears@sloautism.org.
The Walk for Autism & Resource Fair is not just an event; it’s an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and their families. By joining us as a vendor, you contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive community that values and embraces neurodiversity. We look forward to having you with us on April 28th as we walk together towards a brighter and more inclusive future.
