Carrie is a SLO County native and has been connected with the CCASC since 2009, volunteering and supporting Camp Expedition. She’s a “big picture” kind of person and loves planning and creating activities and programs. She has worked for Lucia Mar Unified School District as a Special Education Paraprofessional for the past 16 years. For the last 8 of those years, she has been a Paraprofessional III, supporting and training other special education paraprofessionals in a variety of settings, from least intensive to most intensive. She has two adult children and her oldest, a son, has autism. She is also “Mimi” to five adorable little ones!
Carrie has a passion for supporting and nurturing others while creating an environment where everyone is welcome!
